Steve McGinnis is a highly proven program/project manager and skilled senior analyst with over 21 years of experience working with the U.S. Government. After two decades of dedicated military service supporting Special Operations Forces and sensitive Department of Defense (DoD) operations, Steve developed a unique ability to conceptualize, articulate, and develop innovative solutions to the complex problems of our customers.
Prior to joining Practical Intelligence in June 2022, Steve was the Chief of Program Assessments for a DoD-level organization providing sensitive support for worldwide operations. In this position, he was responsible for multi-faceted due diligence and damage assessments of sensitive components, operations, and processes to enhance Identity Data Management risk mitigation efforts throughout the entire DoD.
As a veteran of multiple combat deployments, Steve knows first-hand the unique struggles veterans face, as well as the value of building and maintaining teams of leaders at all levels. In commitment to this understanding, Steve established the Practical Intelligence leadership program (T.O.P.) and veteran mentorship program (PI Vets).
Steve graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and holds numerous professional certifications in Project Management to include CPD, MPM, and CIPM.
